Most people are in two minds about whether to start a home business part-time while they are still holding their jobs. If you are one of these people, I don't blame you at all. After all, you might have many commitments. But if you are determined to succeed in your own business, then you will find the time to make it happen. Find an extra one or two hours each day to build your business. Do you want it badly enough that you would do almost whatever it takes to succeed in your business?
If the answer is yes, then start taking action right now. Sacrifice some TV time maybe at night, or wake up an hour earlier to spend time working on your business. Start creating goals, marketing materials, and start planning your business model.
The fact is, most people fail to start a successful home business not because they were not capable enough. It is because they didn't want it badly enough. These people often cite the excuse of a lack of time and other reasons for not starting a successful home enterprise. Moreover, if you believe that a business is risky and that a job provides guaranteed income, then you will never succeed and will most likely remain stuck in your day job. Understand that the income in a business is not guaranteed because there is no limit to it either. You make more money by working smart and working hard and having a proven business model.
Most people who have been surveyed have thought about starting a business at some time in their lives. But most people never get to it. Because they procrastinate. Or they think it's risky and give up. Or they just don't want to get out of their comfort zones. Be different, be proactive, and you will reap the rewards.
